Slough Camp Upper Deschutes 1/2 Day
$65

This half-day trip on the Upper Deschutes is only 20 minutes from Bend, making it the perfect journey for visitors to the area who would also like to fit in another activity in the afternoon. This section of river is completely undeveloped and pristine. You’ll have your choice of taking out a kayak, canoe or stand up paddleboard. Paddlers will see interesting lava flow formations that surged down from Paulina Peak when this volcano errupted creating the Newberry Crater National Monument. There is a dense Aspen grove on one side of the river, and the water is inviting shade of aqua-blue.
This trip puts in the heart of the Deschutes National Forest. We'll paddle upstream to Benham falls and explore tranquil lagoons and side channels of the Upper Deschutes in a kayak, canoe or stand up paddleboard.
Elk Lake 1/2 Day
$65

Join us on a half-day canoeing, kayaking or stand up paddleboarding trip to Elk Lake. Our journey begins with a beautiful drive up the Cascade Lakes highway surrounded by majestic mountains and dense pine forests on all sides. We’ll launch our boats from the sandy beach of Little Fawn Campground and paddle around volcanic formations, hidden inlets, and secret beaches. Depending on our location we’ll have South Sister or Mt. Bachelor as our backdrop as we explore the gin-clear waters of Elk Lake.
Wickiup to Wyeth Camp Upper Deschutes Full Day
$95

Tumalo Creek’s full-day kayak, canoe or SUP tour begins just past the Wickiup Reservoir and continues nine miles down the Upper Deschutes to Wyeth Camp Ground. This section of the river is characterized by moving flatwater; the current helps your boat along, and there are no sections of whitewater that require technical paddling skills. This is a great trip for beginning boaters and kids, but advanced paddlers will also enjoy the serenity and beautiful scenery of this peaceful section of the river.
There are a few summer homes on the first few miles of this run, but eventually the river begins to wind through the forest with trees on all sides. Paddlers can expect to see deer, elk, cougar, black bear, bald eagles, red tail hawks, great blue herons, beavers and otters.
This is the trip for families or groups looking for a fun and peaceful full-day experience out on the beautiful Deschutes River. Price includes all gear, expert guides and a bag lunch.
