Tumalo Creek has the largest selection of whitewater kayaks, sea kayaks, recreational kayaks, paddle-boards and canoes in Central Oregon. We are located right on the Deschutes River so rentals and demos can be put in the water right off the back lawn or carried down to McKay Park for a pleasant afternoon exploring Mirror Pond.
Owner and operator Geoff Frank moved to Bend in 2000 to open the shop as manager under the name Alder Creek. In the winter of 2008, he became owner and renamed the store Tumalo Creek Kayak and Canoe in honor of one of the most scenic tributaries of the Deschutes River.
